Will I receive a full refund?

 

We will give you account credit worth 100% of the value of your order, except shipping fees if tickets have already been shipped.

You can use this credit toward any race of your choice within the next 12 months. If you don’t wish to receive this credit, you will receive a refund in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Our terms and conditions state that any potential refund may not include service, delivery fees and commission, which are all costs incurred by GooTickets in the sale of any ticket. In this particular case, we will retain a service fee and refund the difference to the card originally used for payment.

You will receive an email in which you can select either of these 2 options.

 

 

When will refunds be issued?

 

As many events are impacted by the Coronavirus, your refund may take a few weeks to process from the moment you select this option from the email we will send you.
 

 

Why does it take so long to receive my refund?

As you may know, there are several events impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak. Due to this, we are liaising with multiple event promoters who each have a different procedure and timeline to manage this.

This may take some time, so your ongoing patience is very much appreciated. However, we want to reassure you that our team is dealing with this as the highest priority. We will keep you updated with any relevant information as it becomes available.

We are doing our best to process all refund requests as soon as possible. However, under the current circumstances, this may take a few weeks.

Can I use my credit for another event?

When will the postponed events take place?

 

We cannot provide specific answers today given the fluidity of the situation. However, we know F1 plans to get the 2020 Championship season underway as soon as it’s safe to do so. Once this point has been reached, it is likely the new date will be revealed and we will communicate this to you by email.

We currently expect the 2020 season to begin in June but we are monitoring the situation daily. However, should the situation change, we will then communicate with you directly by email.

 

 

I don’t want to travel anymore, can I get a refund?

 

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your order if the event is not cancelled. Should the situation change, we will then communicate with you directly by email.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your order if the event is not cancelled. We advise you to check your travel insurance which, if purchased before the travel restriction in most cases, should cover for this eventuality.

The insurance is not applicable for “force majeure”. If you have purchased the insurance, you can submit a claim - in case you or your immediate family have been subject to a serious accident or illness.
