The French Grand Prix is one of the oldest motor races in the world which has seen the event being held at 16 different venues. One of the most significant races was in 1906 on a circuit near Le Mans that had a length of 103km. Since then, the event has been moving homes around France but multiple conditions, such as a remote location and lack of attendees, contributed to the event eventually being discontinued. Fast forward to 2018 and the race saw light at Circuit Paul Ricard, a track with better conditions for drivers. This new track includes similar features to Tilke´s modern designs and drivers can really race and overtake. Coupled with the alluring views of the surrounding and the French Riviera, the French Grand Prix is set to impress its fans.
With the promise of great views, you want to make sure that you also snag fantastic views of the circuit and track action. The Virage du Pont Grandstands is one such grandstand that offers spectacular views as you can follow the cars take on the last two bends of the circuit. While it may not be a fast corner, it definitely gives you the best vantage points for photo opportunities. If speed is what you´re after, the Saint Baume Grandstands have your name on them. Arguably one of the best grandstands to witness all the action, you get prime views of the turn into the Virage de l´Hotel.
