Malaysia Grand Prix first made its debut on the MotoGP calendar in 1991 at the Shah Alam circuit, which hosted the event for 7 years before moving to another circuit. It then called home to the spectacular Sepang International Circuit in 1999. Located near the capital, Kuala Lumpur, the circuit was designed by the renowned Hermann Tilke and took 14 months to be completed. Its unique layout and history make it an interesting tourist attraction as it goes from holding prestigious motorsports events to preserving the history of motorsports and to also developing its very own talent. Today, the complex in which the circuit is situated is touted to be one of the hottest venues in the city due to its other facilities, including a hotel, a shopping centre, golf course and other sports facilities.

The Sepang International Circuit is exceptionally famous for international motorsports events as it was built with a specific intention – thrilling and exciting racing. The track itself runs a total length of 5.5km and it has a combination of 15 turns and 8 straights. Average speeds can go up to more than 300km/h and coupled with a wide track, riders have plenty of opportunities to take over their competitors throughout the entire race. This means that you are guaranteed a race filled with suspense! Look out for the four slow corners that follow the long stretches which then go into corners that are of medium-high speed. This is a sight for true skills as you witness riders take on this tricky part of the circuit.

With superb skills on display at the Malaysian Grand Prix, any seat you choose is a great one to witness all the action. Live it up with MotoGP VIP Village and enjoy top-notch hospitality service with fantastic views of the track. You also get to enjoy access to the paddock and unique tours, and all-day food and bar service. Of course, you can also go wild at the Grandstands and General Admission which offer great views of the race from all around the circuit.
There are plenty of awesome things to check out at the Malaysian Grand Prix and we want to make it even better for you. Keep an eye out for our promotions that will entice you and help you save big in your purchases.
