Car

Driving to Balaton Park Circuit is convenient, as it's located about 90 minutes from Budapest and is well-served by Hungary’s motorway system. The main approach is via the M7 motorway, which runs alongside Lake Balaton and offers scenic views along the route. Dedicated parking areas will be available near the venue. It is advisable to check traffic conditions and plan your route in advance, particularly during Grand Prix weekend.

- From Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport:
Take the M0 ring road, then merge onto the M7 motorway heading west.
Distance: approx. 120 km (75 miles) | Duration: 75–85 minutes.

- From Vienna International Airport:
Follow the A4 motorway, enter Hungary via the M1, then continue on the M7.
Distance: approx. 200 km (125 miles) | Duration: around 2.5 hours.

Train


Take a direct train from Budapest—departures are available from Keleti, Déli, or Kelenföld stations.
Destination is Balatonakarattya, the nearest station to the circuit. The journey typically takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the chosen service.
Once arrived at Balatonakarattya continue your journey to the circuit by taxi or a shuttle service (subject to confirmation).

Bus


Head to the Népliget Bus Terminal in Budapest, where long-distance and regional buses depart regularly for nearby towns like Balatonfőkajár and Balatonkenese.
If you're arriving by train at Balatonakarattya, continue your journey by bus number 7323, which arrives at Balatonfőkajár tüzép station.
From there, the Balaton Park Circuit is just a 1.3 km walk away, making it an accessible and scenic route to the venue.
