Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Information

Sochi Autodrom

The Sochi Autodrom is the first circuit in Russia to have hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix, and is the most high-tech complex to host international motorsport events in Eastern Europe, as well as the only Russian circuit to operate all year round.  The first ever Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix took place in 2014, which was also announced to become the Formula 1 Race Promoters' Trophy winner as the best championship stage of the 2014 season.

Sochi Autodrom is an attractive site for organising motorsport competitions thanks to the unique surroundings of the 2014 Winter Olympic village. The track itself is highly technical and offer spectators a thrill at every turn: it consists of 12 right-hand and six left-hand corners. You can also expect a good amount of speed at this track as it features several high-speed straights.
