Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix Information

Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez

The high-altitude circuit Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez hosts a race with a formidable ambience; the local fans contribute with an energetic support and enthusiasm for the sport at the Mexican Grand Prix. It’s location, close to vibrant Mexico City, makes a trip to this event a perfect combination of motorsport thrill and new discoveries.

The track is named after the successful brothers Ricardo and Pedro, who helped build the tremendous growth and support for Formula 1 in Mexico, and has seen quite some thrilling races with dangerous accidents throughout the years; the track is famous for the daunting 180-degree Peltrada corner. Before Mexico was reinstated on the calendar in 2015, the facility was considerably upgraded, and the Peltrada broken up into slow bends.
