F1 France Event Guide & Information

Paul Ricard Circuit

After a 10-year absence from the F1 Calendar, the French Grand Prix makes a comeback in 2018! Taking place at Circuit of Paul Ricard, less than an hours’ drive form beautiful Marseille, this is an exciting Grand Prix to look forward to.

The Paul Ricard Circuit (Le Castellet) last hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1990, before the country’s event was taken over by Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours near Paris for a many years. Perhaps most famous for the original Mistral Straight; a 1.8-km full-on blast that nowadays include a chicane in the middle, this track is overall flat and fast thanks to its plateau location and elongated layout.
