Race in

Formula 1 and United-States are back again together, and after Indianapolis till 2007, it’s Austin, in Texas, that will host the race. The track (anticlockwise) has been designed and built to welcome Grand Prix of Americas in Wandering Creek.

The effervescence demonstrated during the Brazilian Grand Prix is almost as important as the one displayed during football games. Sole host of the Brazilian Grand Prix since 1981, the Interlagos district of Sao Paolo has benefited from the construction of many houses and buildings around the track.

Launched in 2004, Bahrain’s Gulf Air Grand Prix welfares from its unconventionalities. First ever GP to be set in the Middle East, the track is surrounded by the Bahraini desert. Under the boiling Arabian sun, the race is very challenging for the drivers. Likewise, with track temperatures often exceeding 40°C, tires wear out faster, forcing teams to reconsider pit strategies.

Since its first edition in 2004, the Shanghai Grand Prix has worked its way up in order to become one of most exciting races of the season. What makes this venue so special is the circuit’s structural design. Inspired by Chinese History, the track and its stands are a fine mix of tradition and modernism. The main grandstand, which contains 29.000 seats, allows a good deal of visitors to enjoy a panoramic view of over 80% of the race.

Canada’s Gilles-Villeneuve track always reserves a warm welcome to Formula 1, even though 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve is not driving in the category anymore. Sometimes drivers are welcomed by the “Bienvenue au Québec” wall. The Canadian detour is simply a special parenthesis in the calendar, marking a break right in the middle of the European races.

Every summer, Formula 1 has its own Grand Prix at home; on the land the sport was born. Silverstone inaugurated the World Championships in 1950, and the F1 season would simply not be the same should the British Grand Prix fail to be on the calendar. Silverstone is the heart of many of the team factories, and the track was reborn in 2011 with brand new garages and hospitalities.

The Circuit of Hockenheim (officially named Hockenheimring) hosted its first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1970. Set in the forests of Baden-Württemberg, the breathtaking scenery adds value to this fast circuit. Shortened in the early 2000s following a request from F1 officials, Hockenheim circuit hosts the German Grand Prix one year out of two, switching with Nürburgring.
